Federico Garcia Lorca (1898-1937) was born in Granada, Spain. A poet and playwright (Blood Wedding, The House of Bernarda Alba), he was killed by the Falangists in Spain during the Spanish Civil War.

Wonderful

This is one of the most beautiful books one can ever read. "LLanto por Ignacio Sanchez Mejias" is a very powerful poem. The strong rhythm will dazzle you. "Romancero Gitano" is written with an eloquent spirit and you will enjoy it as much. I strongly recommend this book and any of Lorca's works.

Do not buy this.

I do NOT recommend anyone to buy this product. First of all, this is not an edition of Romancero Gitano, but a print-to-order booklet. If you just find the poems on the internet and print them at home on folded letter-size paper and and a lousy cover, you'll have the same result. Actually, this is what this "editor" Raul Bracho, seems to have done.
The image on the front cover is totally pixelated, and the text on the back cover has been directly ripped off wikipedia. The "editor" didn't even bother to take off the "[citation needed]" tags from the wikipedia article.
