Nice primer/therapy aid for folks in 'stuck-in-a-rut,' anxiety situations

Sometimes less is more when it comes to therapy aides. Especially when patients are stuck in a rut, that discovery phase when individuals are simply trying to figure out why they're feeling a bit 'off.'
It's really cool that Amazon is popping out up with an array of these 'quick hit' titles (most Free via Prime), a nice cornucopia of offerings that folks can easily pick and put down...and - most importantly ...refer back to when they need them the most. For instance, I loved Say Yes to Success Despite Your Chronic Illness: 10 Weeks to Overcoming the Obstacles of Chronic Illness and Finally Achieving What You Want in Life. I only hope therapists are findings these as easily as I am.
Tim Lee's offering perhaps oversells in its title - calling a 40 page book 'ultimate' is a bit much - but it certainly delivers on what it promises. Specifically, a very easy 8 tangible steps - along with accessible instructions on how to enact them - to help individuals relax on a daily basis. While simple in nature, they're definitely effective. Kudos to Lee for keeping this at this level, and being unabashed in doing so. Also - with no offense to Lee - overselling educational credentials while doing so.
For therapists/patients dealing with an early stage anxiety issue, this book is a nice tool in the toolbox. I see this book arguably best enacted via a tip per week, with patients documenting time spent to accomplish tip task and tracking results, numerically (scoresheet provided by therapist).

Management Techniques, Stress Free Living) Kindle Edition by Timothy Lee is a book that needs to be added to your bookshelf. This was an interesting book for me to read. I have read others but they have sometimes seemed confusing and really a bit boring. This book is very short, simple and to the point. The information shared was very well written and easy to understand. The principles included are really easy to follow and will help anyone who needs that help. If you or someone you know has a problem with depression or stress (which everyone does) this is the book to have on hand. I gave this book 5 stars but it is worth more and I wish I could give it more. I very highly recommend it to everyone.

Easy read, great tips

This book is informative with practical tips for reducing stress. True to the spirit of the theme, it is to the point and not a labor to read.
It covers a pretty wide spectrum of information related to stress including medical explanation of your body's reaction to stress as well as lifestyle, diet, and other ways to manage and reduce stress.
In addition to the informative content, I loved the fact that this book did not overly explain topics (which is something that can result in me not finishing some self help books). Timothy Lee is direct, concise, and clear.
I found myself sharing with people at work some of the tips that I learned after reading the book. They made sense and were easy to remember. There is also a summary at the end of the book if you want a refresher.
I recommend this book for students, professionals, and parents. It has appeal to a wide demographic.
