I want to include a description of what my book includes, poems that are designed to create many a different mood. I have written poems for years, for special occasions and events. It is something I truly enjoy and have always seen my writing as a fun pastime. One day my husband came home with the idea I should compile a full collection of poems, an idea I actually felt very excited about. With the endless support and encouragement of my husband and three amazing children I now find myself in a position where I have completed my first book of poems.
The poems are inspired from personal events, my vivid imagination and also observations I have made as I plod on through life. Some of these I think will raise a smile, some may cause a tear but I am sure you will enjoy them as you read them and even sympathise with some of the words that are written.
I am lucky to be blessed with a supportive husband and three children who have helped me get this far. This has included bringing me many cups of tea and more chocolate than I should really be eating. I thank them all so much for looking after me while I created my masterpiece. Also thank you to my family and friends who have been so encouraging and excited for me as I pursue this dream.
