The Four Phases of Love is a book about what we go through as we embarkon our journey through the ups and downs of a serious relationship. Like many others, I thought I knew enough about relationships tosuccessfully negotiate the constantly shifting terrain of love. Idiscovered very quickly that was not the case.
There is a lot tolearn about being with someone, striving together, learning from eachother, growing together, and so much more. Love is only as difficult aswe make it. We must become students in order to learn what it means totruly love someone.
This is not a manual on the four phases oflove. It is a loosely connected story about my journey through thephases of love written from the creative perspective. I hope you enjoyit.

Daryl Horton is apoet and literary activist whose work focuses on capturing lived experiencesand translating these experiences into something we can all share and feel.Daryl currently works as an information and knowledge manager supporting theU.S. Marine Corps. What a lovely gem

Who amongst us doesn't love, love? This little gem has multiple story levels. The author incorporates incredible poetry, some quite risqué along with black and white portraits/pictures and the surprise of a screenplay-esque portion. I do believe that anyone who reads this story will recognize something in his or her own relationships pertaining to love. I know I did. But despite the apparent struggles that love brings and is written about in this book, at the end of the day, your life's desire, for as long as you are breathing, is to keep the things you love. Aaaahhhh, love! Bravo, author, bravo!
