All about NPD

This is an interesting read. I have confirmed now that most of us have the tendency to be narcissistic and some may lead to have a Narcissistic Disorder. For me, I agree that each of us have the interest or a want to feel good with ourselves and to others. I appreciate the information that is presented in this book to guide us especially those who have NPD through the principles of narcissism and express the reality behind this disorder. This book will enable to inspire someone with this kind of disorder to be aware of his / her behavior and should follow a treatment program under a professional help. Someone with this disorder may be healed and renewed in time.

This book is like a breath of fresh air

This is a very helpful book for anyone trying to understand the depth of the effects of living or working with narcissists.
This book focuses on narcissism, a personality disorder. The theory that narcissism is actually a symptom of self-alienation that can be relieved by bringing the sufferer back into contact with those portions of the self that he or she has banished is most liberating. If you have individuals in your personal and professional life who are self-centered, self-absorbed, have a sense of grandiosity, engage in pathological lying and demonstrate a sense of entitlement, you must read it.
The information provided in this book is amazingly helpful, incredibly detailed, and the author has such an abundance of insight into the NPD personality. For the first time in many, many years I now feel alive, in control and happy again. I have actually reclaimed my life, my values, and my soul. I learned a lot of new information from this book. This book is like a breath of fresh air for those of us who have been suffocated and stifled for so long.
I highly recommend Carol's book as a resource to anyone who interacts with a narcissist on regularly basis. It is the book you will turn to again and again for your guidance and comfort.

Understanding Narcissism

I was pleasantly surprised when I found this book and was quite amazed at the content. I can more than relate to the contents because the personality disorder behavior described I came across several years ago in my sister’s husband. We were flabbergasted at his behavior, outbursts and often nonchalant demeanor but now we have a name for it and help to deal with it.
I felt so sorry for my sister when she would vent, I didn’t know how to console or help her but now I do. I will definitely get a copy for her as well. This book is a breath of fresh air because it helps me understand the intricacies of the disorder, how it affects the person who displays it and how to help those who have to deal with the narcissist.
It’s a very worthwhile read for the people who have to deal with it up close and personal. Kudos for writing this book, it’s practical and beneficial.
