Atwell gifts us with beautifully crafted poems drawn from his life experiences. From his childhood adventures among the creeks, rivers and marine life in Annapolis, Maryland; as a youth in the Air Force stationed in Iceland and Wiesdagen, Germany during the Cold War; to his travels and civilian life as a teacher, librarian and family man. Profound Philosophical and Spiritual insights, made real through a keen observation of Nature and delivered in vibrant and descriptive language makes this a jewel of a book. It will delight and enrich the reader.
