Short read, yet helpful book.

Since I have a few allergies to certain pollens, I decided to read this book. It is short and sweet, yet I did find info in this book rwgarding essential oils that I use for my allergies:
1 Peppermint Oil...the included info is basic and useful. I do wish the author listed mpre details on each essential oil.
2 Lavender...good basic info. I use it on my forehead and shoulders to relax me.
3 Lemon...I mix peppermint and lemon oils i
As suggested, this works well.
3 Other oils listed in this book are also helpful.
INTERESTING SECTIONS in this book:
1 Section about Oils That May Cause Allergies....Clove, Fennell, Basil, Cypress, Clary Sage....personanlly, I did not find this, yet this section may help others who may have allergies to any of these.
2 Section on Reactions...this is interesting and nice to know.
Overall, I like this book. I rated it 4 stars because I would like to have seen more details on how to use the Essential Oils

Title Misleading

While I understand that everyone is most likely allergic to something, the idea of title of the book led me to believe that the author was going to offer insighnt on using oils FOR contolling allergies, not point out that some people might have adverse reactions to oils. I wholly believe in the power of essential oils. Therefore, I would highly suggest that ANYONE beginning to use oils read, ask, research and learn all they can before beginning essential oils on their own. Any oils used should be 100% CPTG (Certified Pure Thearputic Grade) and should clearly state so on the label. One should also be able to trace the oils to the source; if you can not do so, I would not use the oils.

Can I give this less than one star? This was basically a pamphlet that gave a quick run down on EOs and did not give any info on what oils to use for allergies. I am glad it cost $0.00 because I would be very disappointed if I had paid for it.
