‘What is more perfect then The moment of breathing in The moment of breathing out’

Abbey Fuchs is a breath of fresh air in a time when too much interconnectedness translates as social media and selfies and tweets. Her collection of poems are simple, light, heartfelt thoughts and songs of feeling – feeling love – or searching for it, and writing it.
Though she offers no biographical information to prepare for her writing she does offer the following at the beginning of this, her first book: ‘These are a collection of poems and impressions from my 20’ s. Love, Spirituality, Longing, the basic themes when you are searching for who you are and who you shall become. In 2004 I was working at a resort in Mexico where I met Anton. I was ready for something but not yet formed. I met him and I knew. He met me and did not.’
