It's a journey worth taking!

When I first read Nima's writings, I found myself "slowing down" and experiencing the places and people he saw. His writings connected me to people and places I have never seen and reminded me of many things I had experienced in my own life but seldom took time to really reflect on them.
Contrary to the other person giving this small book a review, I couldn't read it quickly - or even in one setting. There was so much to experience, to feel, to see - to ponder. It needed time. This little book made me want to take that time, to savor the experiences. I felt joy with some of the writing, cried over others and revised some of my thinking along the way. This little book is a journey. It will stay in my library and it will be passed on to others.
I highly recommend this book to all.

A Shared Human Experience

Motahari evokes and describes emotion with the lyrical patois of a musician. There's passion in his poetry, and an unbridled honesty you won't easily find in the ramblings of many a popular poet. Often story-like, but couched in evocative verse, these poems will give you a very personal slice of a life lived in several countries and cultures, but all melting into the vast human experience common to us all. The writing may have been done in solitude, but the words reach out and include anybody willing to feel, fear, and love.

Nima's writing takes you on the journey into a timeless place, as though you are sitting with him by the fire having a glass of red wine, or the spring breeze going through our hair... you are experiencing the moment. A very enjoyable read which at the same time is very sincere and emotional. Thank you Nima for sharing all your thoughts and tender feelings.
